Daniel Graves shares “While other kids were out playing on suburban streets, I was caught in the whirlwind of the Satanic Panic—instead of Saturday morning cartoons, I was experiencing exorcisms at the hands of my family and being tormented with threats of eternal damnation. ‘Into the Void’ is a raw reflection of growing up in the late 80s and early 90s, where my childhood was steeped in conspiracies and fear.”

Revolver writes Aesthetic Perfection are gonna make you sweat to their new industrial-damaged rock single, ‘Into the Void.’ The latest cut from the long-running, Austrian-American project comes from their forthcoming Bad Vibes EP, and Revolver is proud to premiere it right here right now. Sonically, it leans into a Nineties-era, retro-futuristic slam of crunch-dustrial guitar chordage, mechanically-manned marching rhythms, and mega-screams from bandleader Daniel Graves.

Visually, the accompanying music video presents the creepiest aerobics routine imaginable. A flashy sweatsuit-sporting Graves saunters into the scene with a beer in hand, but he puts the bottle down to work those carbs off via a limbs-pumping, grin-widening exercise routine. As this goes on, we hear a bunch of found-footage samples about demonic possessions.

Aesthetic Perfection’s Bad Vibes EP finds Graves working alongside guitarist Sebastian Svalland (PAINLindemannLetters from the Colony) and live drummer Mike Schopf (Cil City), with the three-song release also having been mixed by Sean Beavan (Nine Inch NailsMarilyn MansonGuns N’ Roses). It’s due out in full October 11th.”

Daniel Graves, the Austrian-American industrial pop trailblazer, returns with his most ambitious project yet: the Bad Vibes EP. This 3-song sensory assault delivers a disorienting punch of 90s nostalgia, where dial-up modems hum alongside samples of televangelists and infomercial hosts, all set against a backdrop of blistering guitars, guttural screams, and relentless mechanical rhythms. Anchored by Graves’ signature melodies and sharp pop sensibilities, the Bad Vibes EP is both a reflection on American culture during the Satanic Panic and a commentary on our present moment.

Wearing its influences proudly, the Bad Vibes EP evokes the raw energy of The Downward Spiral-era Nine Inch Nails and Marilyn Manson’s Portrait of an American Family while remaining undeniably Aesthetic Perfection. Mixed by the legendary Sean Beavan (Nine Inch Nails, Marilyn Manson, Guns N’ Roses) and featuring the searing guitars of Sebastian Svalland (PAIN, Lindemann, Letters from the Colony) with live drums by Mike Schopf (Cil City), this EP bridges the gap between past and future with unparalleled intensity.

The Bad Vibes EP will be released as a series of singles, starting today (September 13) with “Into the Void,” followed by “Self Inflicted” on October 4th, and concluding with “Bad Vibes” on October 11th.

Aesthetic Perfection is a 100% independent industrial pop project made up of Los Angeles-born,Austrian-based producer Daniel Graves, Los Angeles native Constance Antoinette and New York based drummer Joe Letz. Over a career spanning 23 years, seven full-length albums and numerous singles and music videos, Graves and crew have reinvented dark electro, combining industrial, pop, goth, and everything in between.

Despite flying under the radar of mainstream audiences for decades, Aesthetic Perfection are no strangers to the music world; the band has clocked countless sold out dates on headlining tours across both Europe and North America. Their success on smaller stages prepared them for their biggest adventure thus far: supporting Till Lindemann (Rammstein) on his debut tour for his Lindemann side project.

Adding that to their growing list of accolades, such as collaborating with the likes of RichardZ. Kruspe (Rammstein), alt-rap icon SINIZTERJinxx (Black Veil Brides)Rhys Fulber (Fear Factory / Frontline Assembly)CelldwellerNikki Misery (New Year’s Day)Sebastian Svalland(Pain / Lindemann) as well as featuring tracks on Netflix original programming and the Underworld: Awakening soundtrack, Aesthetic Perfection continue to assert themselves as a force to be reckoned with. Their 2019 self-released album, Into the Black, readied the band to take the next step and spread the gospel of Industrial Pop to an ever-widening audience—with full rein of their creative output.

The instability of the music business in the wake of the Coronavirus pandemic led to the launch of the “12 Singles in 12 Months” project, which challenged Graves to write and release one new song every month throughout the course of 2021. This ambitious project spawned the band’s biggest hit yet, “S E X”, along with numerous placements on iTunes charts across the globe. The success of this endeavor further demonstrated Aesthetic Perfection’s fearless tenacity, along with their ability to adapt to, and find growth in, any circumstance. The project culminated with the release of MMXXI, a collection of all the year’s singles, on June 3rd, 2022.

In the midst of the wildly successful North American and European legs of the American Psycho Tour, Aesthetic Perfection secretly filmed their most ambitious music video for their most ambitious single to date: “Summer Goth.”

Released on July 7th, 2023, “Summer Goth” blends Top-40 with Norwegian Black Metal; a brutal industrial pop summer anthem that no one other than Aesthetic Perfection could pull off. Rivaled only by its fever dream music video, directed by Zoran Bihać (Rammstein, Diefantastischen Vier)“Summer Goth” is proof that Aesthetic Perfection are just getting started.
