First Artist Signing MEMORIES IN BROKEN GLASS Performs Saturday, March 19th at Dirty Dog Bar in Austin, TX
Brand new Texas-based music label Hammer Forged Records is pleased to announce the company’s official launch, which they will celebrate with their first signed artist, Memories in Broken Glass, this Saturday, March 19th at Circle Talent’s official SXSW showcase at Dirty Dog Bar. Make sure to catch the band’s performance – doors open at 7:30pm.
Hammer Forged Records will release Memories in Broken Glass‘ debut album alongside a digital download of their current three-song EP, available on the newly launched www.hammerforged.com. Check out Memories in Broken Glass via Facebook.
Hammer Forged Records is comprised of partners Robert Beltran (producer, Shattered Sun) and businessperson Justin DePalma. Their primary goal is to push solid, driven, and groundbreaking bands that deserve the opportunity to be heard on the nationwide circuit.
“Hammer Forged Records was born based on a need in our area to promote and push bands that have the greatest potential – bands that are simply burdened by operating in areas of business and promotion that don’t contribute to the art of making great music,”states label partner Justin DePalma.
Mark Martinez of newly signed artist Memories in Broken Glass adds, “If there’s one thing I’ve learned pursuing music, besides being genuinely passionate about what you’re doing, it’s working with people who truly believe in you. It’s an amazing feeling knowing that we’re not in this alone on this ride and I’m excited for what lies ahead!”
With an established network and team, the label is opening its doors, encouraging submissions by artists, and is expected to be making further announcements on its scheduled plans this year.
