Metal Fortress Radio LLC is proud to announce their participation this summer as a promotional partner with the nationally acclaimed Vans Warped Tour, Presented by Journeys. Marking the first time a radio station has joined the tour as a promotional partner in Vans Warped Tour history, Metal Fortress will accompany the tour for several dates, streaming live beginning July 7th in Syracuse, NY and ending July 13th in Boston, MA. Listen in and hear LIVE interviews with performing bands, and “What The Hell Is Going On” segments from the tour itself. On site will feature live interviews, games and prizes and a day full of interactive fun with the Metal Fortress team.
 
Just yesterday, the Vans Warped Tour announced this summer’s full line-up, which includes several fan favorites, including New Found Glory, Tonight Alive, Less Than Jake, Yellowcard, We The Kings, Sleeping With Sirens, Falling In Reverse, Four Year Strong, Reel Big Fish and Pepper, to name a few. In addition, the new Monster Energy Party Zone will present festival-goers with two stages of heavy music from bands such as Atreyu, Every Time I Die, Motionless In White, The Color Morale, Chelsea Grin and many more. In keeping with its longstanding tradition of bringing music fans the best of newer, up-and-coming acts, this year also includes bands like State Champs, Like Pacific, In Hearts Wake, Capsize and From Ashes To New, plus much more.

Founded in 2004 by Christina “Lady Rose” Palmer with Thomas “The Beast” Blardo joining in 2014, Metal Fortress has shown drive, determination and expertise in the area of radio by doing more than just playing songs. Metal Fortress has become a staple in New England as the frontrunner in scouting unsigned artists while pushing to help promote local New England bands. Metal Fortress heard the call and has stepped up to fill the void after major Loud Rock FM stations in the region switched over to Classic Rock and other non-metal programming. 
 
With its popularity skyrocketing in March 2014, the audience demanded for Metal Fortress Radio more than once per week. WMFR-DB Metal Fortress Radio, a 24 hour online internet station, was born. WMFR-DB is located in Hartford, CT and can be streamed on all mobile devices and computers worldwide. 
 
Metal Fortress Radio is no stranger to promotion and partnerships. Over the past year, they have teamed up with White-Light Entertainment Inc. to expand the horizons of Metal Fortress Radio and its events in New York City. Metal Fortress partnered on production of an event for Stallone’s movie “Creed” and are working on a future fashion event at Trump Tower in NYC by Tia Maria, which will feature fashion by New Jersey Housewives’ Kim D’s Poche. 
 
In addition, Metal Fortress is also creating Operation Fortress Freedom, a non-profit lead by longtime friend Jamie Amenta. This is a project near and dear to Christina and Tommy’s heart, as their son is currently serving his second tour in Afghanistan. To start the project, Metal Fortress have provided gifts to the families of troops, monetary support to the soldiers overseas for goods needed and sending care packages of supplies and merchandise donated by many touring bands.
