Debut Full-Length Album Thalassas Out Now – Get it on iTunes
New Jersey/Philadelphia-local progressive rock and metal hybrid IN THE PRESENCE OF WOLVES recently showcased their high-skill musicality with the release of their debut full-length album Thalassas. Combining influences ranging from classic groups such as Rush and Yes to modern experimental and prog performers Mastodon and The Mars Volta, Thalassas truly opened doors for the band – solidifying them as a group to watch in the up-and-coming progressive metal scene. Members of the press dubbed the album “adventurous” “virtuosic” and “technical” – to name a few choice descriptors.
 
After spending time performing locally and writing new music in 2015, IN THE PRESENCE OF WOLVES are pleased to bring their energetic live performance to fans outside of their local area. The band will kick off their upcoming east coast U.S. tour on March 26th in Rockaway, NJ – visiting a total of six cities before closing the tour in Philadelphia, PA on April 2nd.  See below for all currently confirmed tour dates.

IN THE PRESENCE OF WOLVES is a progressive rock/metal band from the South Jersey/Philly area. Established in 2009 and fully realized in 2012, the 4-piece quickly became a staple in the local prog scene and has performed at such esteemed venues as the TLA, Trocadero, Kung Fu Necktie, and The Legendary Dobbs.
