Monoxide delves into the meaning behind the new track: ““Back to Hell” is about feeling out of place in what is deemed social normalcy and then finding that normalcy in what is referred to as The Darkness.”
The subject matter of “Back To Hell” relates to the concept of The Darkness as a whole. Monoxide adds, “The Darkness is something that everyone deals with. It’s a feeling, a style, even a way of life for some. This album is the culmination of all of it. It’s a spotlight on what drives the dark side of everyone. The Darkness will invoke a channel that some could never access. That channel will forever linger never showing its face in most while others thrive in it.”
