DISFIGURING THE GODDESS Reveals First New Track via MetalSucks – New Album ‘Deprive’ Available December 10, 2013
DISFIGURING THE GODDESS is pleased to announce a brand new album, entitled Deprive, hitting music outlets December 10th via Decomp Records. Physical CD’s will also be available via the official DTG webstore. The first track released from the album, ‘The Pathway to Everlasting Nothingness’, is being streamed exclusively today via MetalSucks.net. Take a listen here and keep an eye out for pre-orders coming next week. DTG will be releasing a new track each week between now and the release of the album.
The album art for Deprive (unveiling soon) is being illustrated by well-known brutal death metal illustrator Toshihiro Igawa, who, among many other projects, is known for his artwork for the last DISFIGURING THE GODDESSalbum, Sleeper.
The man behind it all, Cameron Argon, writes, records, produces, and sings on all of the tracks, as well as plays all of the instruments on each DISFIGURING THE GODDESS album. When he’s not focusing on other projects, Cameron is laying down tracks and promoting his music based in the genre that he found his roots in – death metal! At 15-years old, Cameron was busy recording death metal vocals in his room, and years later concreted his name in the metal industry by fronting death metal band Burning the Masses and remixing tracks for bands like Suicide Silence, As I Lay Dying and Whitechapel.
Fast forward a few years, and we arrive at the heaviest, most devastating DISFIGURING THE GODDESS release yet, with Cameron blossoming into his full alter-ego. This record might be named Deprive, but for the listener, it does anything but that.
