New Album The Damaged Ones Out Now via Century Media
Electronic hard rockers and Sunset Strip champions 9ELECTRIC have enjoyed an impressive year, peaking with the release of their brand new album, The Damaged Ones(Century Media), and tours with Lacuna Coil, Butcher Babies, Gemini Syndrome and more. Yesterday, the band joined hard rock royalty Drowning Pool and special guests Gemini Syndrome and Red Tide Rising to kick off their “Not-So-Silent Night” tour – which will visit several eastern and central U.S. cities during the 2016 holiday season (see below for confirmed tour dates).
In celebration of this week’s tour kick off, 9ELECTRIC are thrilled to reveal their heart-pumping, energy-packed new music video for their lead single “The Damaged Ones”. Take a look at the music video now, exclusively via Loudwire: http://loudwire.com/9electric-the-damaged-ones-exclusive-video-premiere/
“The Damaged Ones” video was directed by Fernando Cordero and produced by Marco De Molina of Veva Entertainment Co. (VEC), with art direction from Vicente Cordero.
Vocalist Thunderwood states, “This is the title track from our album “The Damaged Ones”… a song that encapsulates a dark part of the human condition: eventually we all experience some kind of damage. I’d wanted to work with Marco De Molina (producer) and the Cordero brothers for a long time, and we wanted a big performance but also really liked this bizarre ‘yarn people’ concept… people have to shed their scars and baggage to see their true selves. We got something gritty and moody and I’m really stoked!”

9ELECTRIC played their first show in 2011 at the Roxy Theater, and it wasn’t long before they were promoting their own nights at the club. Their shows were such a success, there were constant lines waiting to get in to see 9ELECTRIC share the stage with then-unsigned bands including Otherwise, Butcher Babies and Nothing More. The nights often ended – and still do – with the band hosting a party. From day one, 9ELECTRIC had a vision that was bigger than a 45-minute show – it’s about making every show an event, and making every event an experience to remember.
The band vows to continue that statement on the “Not-So-Silent Night” tour. Thunderwood adds, “Man, 9E is so stoked to hit the holiday road with Drowning Pool! Me and CaseyDC actually first met when our former bands toured with this amazing group. They tore the house down every night and I know we’re gonna have an insane time with ’em again. What a cool tour to unleash some new 9E material on, too… see you soon!”
9ELECTRIC‘s new album The Damaged Ones is now available via iTunes and Amazon. The Damaged Ones was co- produced by Micah Electric and Kane Churko (Ozzy Osbourne, Papa Roach, Five Finger Death Punch).
