Luis Kalil, guitarist of Red Devil Vortex—renowned for his virtuosic shredding and electrifying stage presence—has officially joined Rorschach Test for all dates of the upcoming Scars and Stripes Forever Tour. “It’s an honor to share the stage with such an amazing band,” says Kalil.
Kalil won’t be the only new force in the lineup—Seattle-based shock-industrial keyboardist Luke Guillotine will also bring his darkwave-infused synth mastery to the live set along with the unpredictable and sometimes bizarre show antics he became known for during his time in Murder Weapons. “When James Baker asked me to play on the tour, I knew I had a hard decision on my plate,” says Luke Guillotine. “Of course I will play with Rorschach Test, but should I bring my Fireman’s axe or chainsaw on this one?”
“This could be the most powerful lineup in Rorschach Test history,” exclaims Baker. “We’re crafting a show that people will remember for years to come, just like the last time we toured with the legendary Genitorturers.”
Adding to the momentum, Rorschach Test has just been confirmed for Dark Force Fest, one of the fastest-rising festivals in the darkwave and industrial scene. Check the festival website for more information on dates and times.
Social Media fans of the siren influencer “The Narcoleptic Goddess” can also rejoice. Rumor has it that The Goddess will be playing her Magick Pink Kiesel Bass on all dates, as well, and will be available for meet and greet opportunities TBA.
